Akkordeonverein Oedheim is a member of the Deutscher Harmonikaverband and its sub-organisation
"Unterer Neckar". The Club was founded in 1991.
The club trains young people in accordion, piano and drums. Furthermore, different orchestras and ensembles belong to the club e.g. the 1. Orchestra or the Club 30+.
Our youth-orchestra and especially our 1. Orchestra has participated successfully in several music competitions, also abroad. The Akkordeonverein is an important part of the cultural life of
the Municipality Oedheim, which is located in the south of Germany, near Stuttgart.
Besides our yearly concerts, our festival on Christi Ascension Day is like a magnet for the Oedheimer citizens and for people from the suburbs.
